    Description

    Long needles are essential for doll making as they can go through otherwise unreachable areas of the head and body of the doll and are necessary for the placement of facial features. Easy to thread, sharp, and sturdy with clean eyes that will not fray thread. Useful too for getting through batting when tying quilts, doing soft sculpture, upholstery and other crafts.

    Alternate uses of Hand sewing needles that are very long are typically used for tasks such as quilting and basting, as they allow the user to easily reach through multiple layers of fabric. They can also be used for tasks that require a long reach, such as sewing hard-to-reach areas on a garment or working with large pieces of fabric. Additionally, some long hand-sewing needles are specifically designed for tasks such as darning and tapestry, which require a needle with a large eye to accommodate thicker thread or yarn.
